Learn how we improved the day-to-day benefit service at Schenker Technology Center
Why have we chosen Worksmile?
Schenker Technology Center is one of the four global technological hubs which supply IT solutions to one of the biggest logistics service providers – DB Schenker. Our office in Warsaw employs over 520 people who work in the hybrid mode. Depending on a given team’s nature of work, employees work in-office from anywhere between a few days a week to a few days a year.
Schenker Technology Center – in detail
520 employees
Due to the increasing number of employees and more complex procedures related to employee benefits ordering and accounting, we've decided to look for a solution to make our job easier. We've also wanted to create a space for employees to not only easily find information about all available perks and benefits but also to share their interests and compete with each other. As the employer, we wished to more efficiently promote a healthy lifestyle and a good work-life balance among our employees.
- the system’s ease of use in relation to admin work;
- the possibilities for employees.

Learn how we created a Worksmile platform for Schenker Technology Center
From implementation to full use
Since January 2021, 570 accounts on the Worksmile platform were created for Schenker Technology Center's employees. 521 accounts have been activated (91%).
No more paper forms and Excel tables
The platform is incredibly helpful in
day-to-day benefit management. Thanks to it, we’ve been able to completely abandon the need for paper forms. Employees can now apply for benefits even using their phone and the HR department has access to a wide range of reports whenever they need it.
The platform has made our work much faster and easier. We’ve gotten rid of Excel spreadsheets, in which we compiled our monthly applications and cancellations, one-off requests and manager applications for bonuses.
71% of employees use recurring benefits shared by the employer via the Worksmile platform.
Company activity happens on Worksmile!
We can see that interest groups, which were created on MS Teams before the implementation of Worksmile, are now actively migrating to the new platform. Runners, hikers, cyclists or musicians have found their place here and are now maintaining all of their communication and activity in Worksmile.
The cherry on top is the fact that we’ve managed to increase our employee rewards pool, while simultaneously making reward distribution and accounting much easier.
Schenker Technology Center employees register from 600 to 1600 activities monthly on Worksmile.
