We spoke with Magdalena Nawrot about the shared experiences and the benefits of implementing the Worksmile platform.

I've been an HR and payroll specialist for about 13 years. Although, if we consider all the policy changes and my insistence to follow them, I'd say it's +10 more. For 5 years I've been in charge of the Payroll department at Netguru. I also supervise the administration, support and management of non-wage benefits for our employees. Thanks to that, I can gain some insight about my coworkers, their needs, and the ever-changing job market.

Why did Netguru decide to implement
the Worksmile Perks & Benefits Marketplace?
This was influenced by several factors, the most important of which are:
Flexibility in the employee-client relation and collaborative seeking of implementable solutions while still satisfying all the needs of its users – our employees.
Responsiveness of the platform and professional help every step of the way. A clear proposal presentation, an explanation of the various functions and proposed solutions.
Customization, intuitive user interface and Worksmile’s transparency – all of this made Worksmile fit our benefit strategy like a glove. Employees felt that the tool was completely integrated with our company and work environment. Even though we were using an external application, we wanted it to look and feel like Netguru. And we managed to achieve that as well.
Has Worksmile impacted the employees' engagement and motivation levels?
We have not yet carried out any testing, evaluation, or specific verification in this area.
Worksmile mainly served us to structure our already existing benefit policies. The new platform has significantly improved communication with employees and motivation through a recognition budget. Managers can now recognize employees for their additional commitment or work.

What were the company's anticipated benefits or outcomes?
Has the target been achieved and to what extent?

Absolutely. Currently, all of the above points are being realized. The platform itself meets the expectations of both employees and admins alike.
We're also happy to see the number of available Perks & Benefits Marketplace's partners grow. At first, our employees had many suggestions regarding new possible perks but now I hardly hear such proposals. It was a highly anticipated tool, so it received a warm welcome.
It certainly helped us in organizing our non-wage benefits distribution and our knowledge in this field. We understand our options now. The gamification aspect also proved useful through the Wellbeing module – it features Challenges which incentivize users to stay physically active and look after their mental and physical wellbeing.

how has Worksmile helped you?

All HR reports are made intuitively, data workflow is easy to understand and budget management is pleasant and easy. What more could you want? It's one of many benefits we've gained since implementing Worksmile in Netguru.

It’s incredibly easy and intuitive. First, the admin creates a user account and then the employee logs in via their Google account.
You can also use a mobile app to log in – anywhere, anytime, 24/7.
