A leader in the wine-making market with an innovative approach to benefits
AMBRA, a leader in the Polish wine-making market is extending its reach to Central and Eastern Europe, including Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. AMBRA owns the biggest chain of speciality liquor stores called Centrum Wina/Distillers Limited. They’re also a big player in the hospitality industry, serving over 1500 restaurants across the entire country. Employing over 500 people, they’re creating a work environment which highlights creativity, cooperation, personal development and openness to change as key values. AMBRA is looking to be something more than just a place of work.
Before we could implement the Worksmile platform, we had to consider client-specific needs, such as an intuitive and simple location of the benefits available to all employees and combining request and benefit management automation in one place. AMBRA employees are currently using the following platform modules: Employee Benefits, Requests, Reports.

How does the Worksmile platform work in AMBRA?
502 AMBRA employees gained access to the Worksmile platform, of them 491 activated their account (98%)!
An integrated solution for employee benefits
Thanks to cooperation with Worksmile, AMBRA employees gained access to an innovative platform which merges all of their various benefits. Employees can use the platform to sign up for private healthcare or a language course, receive a sports card or swimming pool tickets. The employee benefits bundle was expanded to include products and services available in the Worksmile Perks&Benefits Marketplace. Employees can use the allocated ZFŚS funs to purchase them. Moreover, the platform can be used to request other benefits, such as a self-arranged holiday subsidiary, life insurance or a subsidiary for corrective lenses.
Integrating all AMBRA employee benefits in one intuitive platform makes it easier to monitor and update the offered benefits, ensuring that they’re consistently meeting employee needs.
Efficient communication about benefits through push and e-mail notifications
Create announcements which can be delivered as push and e-mail notifications which ensures efficient communication with employees directly through the system.
Moreover, the platform offers options to personalise notifications through selective message targeting which ensures that every team member receives the most relevant information.
AMBRA employees have finished 1502 transactions in the Perks&Benefits Marketplace in the first half of 2024. As many as 2306 vouchers were bought!
Over 90% of AMBRA employees have at least one subscription-based product active on the Worksmile platform!
Allocating and using ZFŚS funds under control
Owing to the flexible configuration of the Platform
the Administrator can independently decide which products and services from the Perks&Benefits Marketplace are shared with the employees and whether they will be funded through the ZFŚS fund. Not only does this adjust benefits to the expectations of the team but continuously increases the efficiency of using the ZFŚS fund.
Meanwhile, employees can easily find and choose products to be funded through the ZFŚS thanks to the filtering system of the Marketplace. Our data shows that employees are currently most likely to spend their funds on vouchers for online shopping platforms, bookstores, podcast and music platforms, as well as tickets to the cinema or other cultural events.
Now both fund management and access to benefits financed by said fund have become much simpler and clearer.
Reports about benefit usage (sign ups/sign outs/purchases)
Reports in the Worksmile platform offer the company new possibilities for analysing benefits usage by employees. This feature makes it possible to track detailed data on the Perks&Benefits Marketplace voucher and recurring benefits usage.
Generating precise reports in real time is the key to optimising costs and maximising employee satisfaction which increases their engagement and company loyalty.
AMBRA employees submitted 690 requests on the Worksmile platform in the first half of 2024.
Digital benefit requests relieve the HR team from administrative tasks
In the Request module on the Worksmile platform, AMBRA employees can submit various requests.
The multi-level request approval process significantly simplifies processing requests which ensures a fully automated and digital workflow with less time spent on necessary operation. This relieves the HR department from administrative tasks.

What do you think of the modules you're using?
Worksmile is easy on the eye but its main focus is being a functional platform which showcases the abundance of non-wage benefits to employees. It’s an intuitive and visually interesting tool to display company benefits. As an Administrator, I definitely appreciate the accessible Technical Support, the dedicated Account Manager and the ever-growing list of features in the Admin Panel. Better employee experience in using company-provided benefits
Thanks to Worksmile, AMBRA has significantly improved their employees’ experience in using benefits, as well as implemented more efficient administrative processes. Advanced features, such as digital requests, sign-ups and sign-outs for recurring benefits and using ZFŚS funds in the Perks&Benefits Marketplace has resulted in an offer much better suited to the needs and preferences of employees. These innovative features helped AMBRA strengthen its position on the market as a desirable employer.

One of the key indicators of a successful Worksmile platform implementation is its high usage by AMBRA employees, confirmed by the Usage Score which fluctuated between 58 and 73% in the first half of 2024. Worksmile has demonstrated its value as an accessible tool, available to AMBRA employees when needed and offering quick access to the necessary information and benefits.
Time-saving efficient operations through automated processes
Other than the improved benefit management, Worksmile has significantly saved the time of the HR department through automated administrative processes. Automated reports about benefit usage and the request approval process have not only minimised the risk of error and hastened task completion but also allowed the HR team to focus on more strategic aspects of managing human resources. AMBRA is also considering the Worksmile – enova365 integration to further simplify employee data management, registering new employees or processing personnel changes!
